So, instead of telling people to go watch this heist flick, we let them experience the adrenaline rush of a heist first-hand.
With The Red Notice Shop. Where every drool-worthy item was free, if you could steal it.
Set-up in one of Mumbai’s biggest malls, the Red Notice shop displayed tech delights, movie merchandise, and three precious Fabergé eggs with exclusive, expensive rewards. However, to get to them, fans had to defeat slick security measures usually featured in every heist film ever. Like lasers, sensors, CCTV cameras, alarms and a team of burly security guards.
The result? Over 100k fans channelled their inner thief and turned shoplifters, stealing items worth over INR 5.5 million. In just 3 days. Making it Netflix’s most participated on-ground event globally.
What’s more, Red Notice saw a 25% viewership bump during the event weekend itself! And the shop gained such fame that it directly drove 35% of conversations around the movie, making it the only Global title to trend in India’s ‘Top 10’ list for 10+ weeks.
