| Description: | Piramal Finance was a new brand trying to make inroads in the established category of retail credit. All companies in this category focussed on the affluent majority, for a new challenger brand like Piramal, it was impossible to differentiate with this TG. Piramal Finance decided to go after – Budget Bharat – 732 Million Indians. Widespread across the country in small towns – They were not affluent, but were hardworking, honest people, who earned their money and had the ‘Neeyat’ to repay loans, much more than the affluent sections. Going after this new TG meant it was important for the films to reflect and speak with Budget Bharat; this demanded a precise approach to film craft. With a series of four films aligned with regional festivals, every frame in our films authentically captured the essence of the communities depicted. Through expert cinematography we built a raw, authentic world – A true representation of Budget Bharat’s lives and where they come from; And poignant storytelling celebrated their ‘NEEYAT’. Despite budget constraints, the films resonated deeply with viewers, cementing Piramal Finance as a brand that truly understood and represented their aspirations. |
