Description:	Valentine’s Day ads, through the years, have become increasingly predictable. They either talk to the youngest lot or in a bid to stand out, target singles, but end up being copies of each other. Thus, it’s been challenging as well as exciting to create Swiggy’s strongest IP — with no faces, but only UI — on a day that’s clogged with mediocrity. Table For 2 is our second film, following in the footsteps of Wrong Address, to further said IP. A story of an old school couple, trying their hand at young love as empty-nesters. To bring the story alive and authentically portray the couple’s Gujarati roots, we consciously chose actors — Gajraj Rao and Sheeba Chaddha — over voiceover artists. The music too, inspired by old song compositions, was made from scratch to match the highs and lows of the plot. The result? A Valentine’s Day film that ended up on family WhatsApp groups.
