Description: | Cricket's greatest spectacle was being held in our backyard and EVERY Indian would be screaming themselves hoarse in support. As the ‘voice partners of India’, even though we weren’t an official sponsor, we were determined to be heard! For a cricket obsessed nation, ironically, we don’t have a unifying ‘anthem for the fans’! So, we created one! An anthem to unite 1.4 billion Indians across India. Over months we prepped, cast 140+ people across India to take part. We roped in former cricket superstar Yuvraj Singh to lead the cheer and rally people around the anthem, carrying it across TV, Digital and Print. But that was not all. If Vicks really wanted to create an inclusive anthem that would be the ‘Voice of India’, how could we ignore over 60 million deaf disabled fans? So, we collaborated with India Signing Hands to get a cast of hearing-impaired fans to join in our anthem as well as recreate their own version of the same in sign language! It was the first time an anthem had been created to give a voice to the voiceless. |
