| Description: | In India culturally, it is perceived only the rider needs a helmet, the pillion doesn’t. Indian households usually own a 2-wheeler as a primary vehicle, most pillion riders being kids. When parents ride with their children, they themselves wear helmets for safety. But the cognitive delusion that their children are safe in their care, leads them to not consider helmets for their children. The brand created a film highlighting this value-action gap through a film that contextualized this act of leaving children unprotected - in a comparison with similar situations that warrant protective wear. The film depicted parents protecting themselves with warm clothes around snow-capped mountains, wearing life-vests as they prepare to jump into a waterbody and lastly - in pouring rain under the shade of an umbrella. And in each of these scenarios the child is shown left out of the protective care of the parents - drawing a direct parallel with children traveling without helmets. Through this powerful imagery - intent of the film was to draw attention and raise awareness about the seemingly small oversight that can costs many lives. |
