Description: South India and its people’s love for celebrity and cinema goes hand in hand. With this insight, we tapped into the fandom culture of our audience and strategically partnered with No.1 Yaari, a leading celebrity chat show hosted by Rana Daggubati. It was the most suited platform for Zomato as it enabled its audience to discover their favorite celeb’s favorite food item, their likes, dislikes, and their favorite restaurants during the conversation with Rana. Therefore, making the brand organically be part of the show and build brand relevance. Throughout the 10 episodes, we showcased Rana, an avid fan of Zomato, ordering food for the celebrity guests on the show from the Zomato App. We created special interventions where Rana seamlessly seeded conversations, memories around guest celeb’s favorite food and ordered their favorite food from Zomato on the set. Thus, letting the brand to interact with not just with Rana, but over 20 celebrities across the Telugu cinema industry. We saw a 50% increase in the social conversations.
