Description: Indian textile art forms are centuries old. But a once flourishing handcraft business has fallen prey to mass-produced machine-made textiles, pushing them to the verge of extinction. 100 Pipers wanted to release a series of Limited-Edition Packaging based on the brand’s philosophy, 'Be Remembered for Good'. We turned the packaging into a unique outdoor canvas for forgotten textile arts of India and created The Legacy Project. Six artists weaved six pieces in their art form with goodness as the theme. The canisters were displayed on shelves of liquor stores and transformed the place into a handloom emporium. The 100 Pipers canisters stood out as they displayed India’s rich textile heritage that is centuries old. QR codes on canisters enhanced the customer experience by giving detailed information of all textile art forms. People could see, feel and take back home a piece of India’s textile treasure.
