Description: | Every year, during Durga Pujo, millions of Bengalis in Kolkata hop across two things. One - 'Pandals' (Bamboo shelters housing Goddess Durga). And two, plates. This festival of feasts also witnesses chilled bottles of Coke being carried from pandal to pandal and from plate to plate. This film was created using Bengal's iconic Jamini Roy style of art as it traces a cherished journey across the festival where Coke quenches the thirst to celebrate Pujo right up to the very last drop. The creative idea was to bring alive a journey of a person's experiences during the festival as they move through the 5 days of festivity. A bottle of Coke is literally the witness to everything that happens during the festival and the narrative was woven around these nuanced experiences. The reach of this campaign was not just limited to India. It reached Bengali's across the world who celebrate Durga Puja in different countries and many communities shared the ad. We received 10x engagement, 5x organic reach and were covered by more than 20 publications - positioning the animated film as iconic. |
