Description: Dream11 has a dominating mind and market share. We had to leverage IPL to continue to drive growth. In other words, make the elephant dance by breaking clutter and driving conversions.

India is incredibly diverse, but two things bring Indians together – Cricket and movies. The biggest celebrities in India inevitably come from either cricket or movies.

In the Dream11 film – Sab Khelenge (everyone plays), two universes collide with a meta-narrative. The film opens with a ‘Press Conference’ which has the ‘3 Idiots’ (A blockbuster box office hit that carved out a special place in India’s pop culture).

We decided to get people intrigued not about yet another ad campaign.
But a sequel for the film 3 Idiots itself.

By getting the cast didn’t make it to the campaign, to rant on social media about it. And made the entire internet think a sequel was on the way.

This got fans and Bollywood pages talking. Which generated way more organic conversation around the 3 Idiots comeback, than any conventional teaser would have.

And when finally, the campaign came out.

The fans were taken by surprise.

And overjoyed to see their favorite trio reunite.

In an avatar nobody was expecting them in.
